Over a year ago I was approached by the director of operations about the possibility of calculating standing bids. Without data it was difficult to realize this. I had no way to authenticate users to collect the data, and without working with the company directly I wasn’t able to garner the data to process any bids. I have now developed software that can import the current standing bid PDF files pilots use to submit their bids. The seniority list can be imported to initialize the pilot database and then standing bid files can simply be drag-and-dropped into the app. A bid calculation can then be customized quickly and easily. Here is a video to demonstrate the current functionality.
